[ action ]
[Days 1-5]
Shayera wakes up as Shayera Curtiss, freaks out about her wings, and does her level best to pretend to be someone she's not. She makes several 'unscheduled' stops that the socialite Shayera Curtiss never would.
She goes to the jail, she goes to the insane asylum, and she spends a considerable amount of time in Lowtown.
[Day 6]
Shayera's 'husband' has finally had enough. Shayera can blend in well enough, she's been trained as a spy: She is an excellent spy. However this particular period of time has extreme challenges for her, and she's not a very good housewife. She will put up a surprisingly good fight, but eventually be committed to the asylum.

[Day 1]
Are you feeling alright? I can call for a doctor. [If there's something wrong with her, finding a way to help her quickly and quietly would sound like the most efficient course for action. But perhaps it's just something odd that will could be passing soon. Either way, he's keeping his eye on her.]
[Day 1]
Play it smart.]
No. I don't need a doctor.
[Day 1]
Very well, then. Let me know if the situation changes. [She certainly seemed to be unwell in some way - but it still could just be something that's passing. So he'd trust her world, while continuing to make his own observations.] With that said, you should prepare yourself for breakfast. The kids should be waiting by now.
[Day 1]
[Kids.
She needed to calm down.]
[Day 1]
Yes, Shayera. Our children. Although, I suppose that they won't qualify as children for much longer. [He looks towards a recent-ish family photo that is placed on a desk between their beds.]
[Day 1]
She stared at a picture of a life that was not hers and wanted to run, to fly, but she didn't have her wings and--
No. Find out more information first.]
No. [She stared at the picture and recognized some of them - the bakery girl at least.] Not for much longer.
[She hoped. How long did these things last? Was there an off switch anywhere?]
[Day 1]
Let's not keep them awaiting too long, in that case. As amusing as Adam's impatience can be when his stomach is howling... [He trails off into a soft laugh.]
[Day 1]
Adam.
That would be the 'son.']
[Day 1]
It's your turn.
[Day 1]
Ridiculous.]
Thank you.
[She stands, smooths down her nightgown, and walks a little unsteadily towards the bathroom. How did humans do this?]
[Day 1]
My pleasure.
[Jade says with teasing sarcasm. He then moves over to another side of the room and checks his shiny watch once he's put it on, then spending a moment checking his hair in the mirror while he awaits her.]
[Day 1]
She exited the bathroom and headed towards what she assumed was her closet.]
[Day 1]
Is there something you need from my closet?
[At least the process of deduction means the only other closet must be hers.]
Re: [Day 1]
Do you have any heavy, blunt objects? I'd like to hit myself over the head with one.
[She carefully closes the closet and heads in the other direction.]
[Day 1]
Someone's certainly woken up on the wrong side of the bed. [But playful banter is always welcome.] I'm afraid that my medals of honor aren't quite heavy enough. But I'm sure that one of the maids will be more than happy to lend you an iron.
[Day 1]
She opened up her own (own?) closet door and winced at the finery inside.]
Maybe I'll have to see about that. I feel like I woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
[The separate bed. Hmph. Still. Better to give an excuse for what she was sure would be odd behavior.]
