[Days 1-5]
Shayera wakes up as Shayera Curtiss, freaks out about her wings, and does her level best to pretend to be someone she's not. She makes several 'unscheduled' stops that the socialite Shayera Curtiss never would.

She goes to the jail, she goes to the insane asylum, and she spends a considerable amount of time in Lowtown.

[Day 6]
Shayera's 'husband' has finally had enough. Shayera can blend in well enough, she's been trained as a spy: She is an excellent spy. However this particular period of time has extreme challenges for her, and she's not a very good housewife. She will put up a surprisingly good fight, but eventually be committed to the asylum.

[She carefully closes the closet and heads in the other direction.]

Someone's certainly woken up on the wrong side of the bed. [But playful banter is always welcome.] I'm afraid that my medals of honor aren't quite heavy enough. But I'm sure that one of the maids will be more than happy to lend you an iron.

She opened up her own (own?) closet door and winced at the finery inside.]

Maybe I'll have to see about that. I feel like I woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

[The separate bed. Hmph. Still. Better to give an excuse for what she was sure would be odd behavior.]

Perhaps something as soft as breakfast can do the trick for that. [It's an excuse. But Jade can't just stave off this odd behavior so easily. Regardless of his thoughts, though, he keeps up a light tone that often is hard to tell whether or not is sarcastic.] I only hope that that the food comes out particularly hearty enough - it sounds like that side of the bed put up quite the battle, after all.

I suppose not. [He'll take it as a rhetorical question. And he muses on lightly.] And as long as we keep Adam from attempting breakfast instead of the cooks, it may just stay that way.
