[Days 1-5]
Shayera wakes up as Shayera Curtiss, freaks out about her wings, and does her level best to pretend to be someone she's not. She makes several 'unscheduled' stops that the socialite Shayera Curtiss never would.

She goes to the jail, she goes to the insane asylum, and she spends a considerable amount of time in Lowtown.

[Day 6]
Shayera's 'husband' has finally had enough. Shayera can blend in well enough, she's been trained as a spy: She is an excellent spy. However this particular period of time has extreme challenges for her, and she's not a very good housewife. She will put up a surprisingly good fight, but eventually be committed to the asylum.

Really? [He sounds a little relieved, but he stops, reminding himself that it's too soon to feel that way. It could mean anything. If he wasn't careful, she might think he's crazy, and the consequences of that aren't really something he wants to deal with right now. Hmm, how to go about this...] It's not a secret, is it? Because if it is, I can explain—

Well, see, I'm not from here. [Yeah, that was a good way to put it.] There's this guy I know back home— Actually, we work together. You might know him. He, uh... wears a lot of black. Kind of has a thing for bats?

[There's no hiding the relief this time. Dick didn't know Batman at all, so this is a huge deal. He can't help but smile.]

Well, I work for him, so I'd kind of have to know him. We're partners.

But man, I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers everything right. It was starting to drive me nuts.

I remember Luceti. [She keeps her voice low.] But the Batman I knew only occasionally worked with the League. He didn't take on partners.

[Especially kids. How old was this one? The thought of how young they were starting... well. It wasn't as if she hadn't enrolled at a young age. But things were different on Thanagar; war demanded certain sacrifices. Humans were supposed to be different.]

Maybe your Batman's different from mine. The others here—Zatanna and the other Robin, for example—are different from the ones that I know. They're a lot older in my time.

[He doesn't seem the least bit put off by what she says. With how different Dick was, it's something he's had plenty of time to get used to.]

[She mutters under her breath. But it wasn't true. She could use a Batman right about now. He was the only one she knew who was more paranoid than she was; he'd have a contingency plan for something like this.]

Aww, he's not that bad. [But maybe he's a little biased. Of course, he's pretty sure he wouldn't want to have a bunch of Batmen around, either, but...] I think I'd still feel better if he were stuck here with us. No one's immune to this stuff, but knowing him, he'd be ready for it.

He could give lessons in paranoid. But he'd been too paranoid for that. [She wondered, if he were here, if he'd been pragmatic enough to work with her after what happened.

She didn't want to be doing this sort of thing anymore. But right now, it was a choice between that, or a choice between sitting back and doing nothing.]

I'm sure he'd have a reason for it, at least. Even if it's not a very good one.

[Not to say that it's okay, but rather, he definitely knows how Batman can be.]
